There are various designs for the annular seal of the mixer cock, and the following are common sealing methods:

Rubber sealing ring: The gap between the agitator shaft and the reaction kettle wall can be sealed with a rubber sealing ring to prevent liquid leakage.

Mechanical seal: The use of mechanical seal can make the gap between the agitator shaft and the reaction kettle closer, prevent material leakage, and reduce equipment noise and vibration.

False isolation cover sealing: Install a layer of false isolation cover between the reaction kettle and the mixer, and seal with an O-ring between the false isolation cover and the mixer shaft to prevent liquid leakage.

Spiral sealing: Spiral sealing is an efficient sealing method that can form a compressed sealing zone between the agitator shaft and the reaction kettle to prevent material or medium leakage.

When selecting the sealing method, it is necessary to comprehensively consider factors such as the working conditions, medium properties, pressure, and temperature of the specific reaction kettle, and select an appropriate sealing method to ensure the safe operation and production efficiency of the equipment. In addition, in the mixing seal, it is also necessary to consider how to avoid corrosion and wear of the plug and flange, in order to prevent leakage and increase the sealing gap.
