Oil ring sealing is a common sealing method, and its main structural form is to install an oil baffle ring in the bearing seat hole, which has a small radial clearance between the oil baffle ring and the bearing seat hole. In work, the oil baffle ring will rotate along with the shaft, using centrifugal force to throw away the oil and debris that fall on the oil baffle ring, thereby playing a sealing role.

When selecting and using oil ring seals, the following points need to be noted:

The material and specifications of the oil retaining ring should match the bearing seat hole to ensure its installation and use effectiveness.

The radial clearance of the oil baffle ring should be appropriate, as either too large or too small can affect the sealing effect.

The surface treatment of the oil retaining ring should be appropriate to ensure its wear resistance and corrosion resistance.
